Because every manuscript is unique and requires a personal approach to editing, rates vary depending on the scope of the project, condition of the manuscript, word count, quality of writing, and formatting needs. Pricing follows industry standards based on a per-word fee.
After assessing a sample of your project, you will receive an email with a project proposal including pricing and editing/formatting deadlines. If agreeable, a contract will follow. A deposit of 50 percent of the total fee is required to secure a spot on our production calendar. The balance will be due upon completion of the project.
We offer packages for clients who need more than one service. Please ask about interior formatting and book jacket design. Project turnaround time varies depending on the scope of the project, but most are completed within four weeks. Rush projects will be charged an additional fee.
